Smart girls like Sylvia Plath

Hey, Sarah! Welcome. I was just wondering how you got turned on to Sylvia Plath. I noticed you have one of her quotes on your door in Taylor's video, and another on your myspace blog.
This is one of my favorite passages . . .
The moon is my mother. She is not sweet like Mary.
Her blue garments unloose small bats and owls.
How I would like to believe in tenderness -
The face of the effigy, gentled by candles,
Bending, on me in particular, its mild eyes.
Her words sometimes make me want to cry.

Sylvia Plath is loved by emos. lol. I haven't read anything from her but I know people who do (yes I'm kind of emo
). Sylvia Plath was depressed and committed suicide didn't she?
Sarah do you actually consider yourself emo..?

It's believed she suffered from bipolar disorder. She committed suicide by sticking her head in a gas oven.

Yeah, she stuck her head in her gas oven.
But, there is a lot of controversy to whether she actually wanted to kill herself or not.
