So I was reading another topic and people were talking about why did Bree's dad give Bree the shot to her. Most said becuz his wife told him too.
Now I remeber way back long ago when we noticed that Bree's dad wasn't wearing a wedding band. And since they aren't even Bree's real parents it got me to wondering.

Are we even sure if Bree's "Parents" were even really married.

i remember i posted a theory like that in the "what my dad said" discussion, i defo think its a good theory

If not, it would make even more sense as to why he was taking orders from "his wife" who was clearly higher up in the order than he was.

Did anyone already put out the theory of Lucy being Bree's mom? I know it's far-fetched, but I thought I would point out the obvious. Also, it would explain why Lucy is always the Order member we see. She wants to be closer to her daughter? Whatever, I'm tired as hell. Don't listen to my drivel.

Do you mean her real mother? Or her adopty mother?

I think "thelogicpuzzler" clearly didn't mean that Lucy was Bree's fake-mom.

That's a really interesting theory though.

The situation reminds me of Lowry's "The Giver" where couples are brought together solely to raise children in their community and then broken up afterwards.

Yeah. Jonas's parents were not married, and once Jonas and his sister were independent they would move into a commune-ish home for the elderly. The only reason Jonas's parents were together was to raise two kids.
