Okay, boys and girls, I've just come back from flunking my motorcycle road test, and can now participate in this thread. 
It does sound like a farewell thread to me, but guess we'll have to wait and see.
My first shoutouts have to go to Lurker, spaciegirl, and Ziola. Lurker because his posts were the first ones I really noticed when I started surfing the forum -- they were so well-reasoned and well-argued. He works really hard to stay calm and rational and fair, and he's been a good person to PM with. Spacie because I totally love her sensibilities -- her sardonic humor and aesthetic sense. And Zi because she's not only funny in a delightfully twisted way, but also the most thoughtful and loving person I've come across in a long time, not only here but in RL as well.
Then to my pals from spacie's thread: AP, who always keeps me off-balance (and whom I expect to respond to this post with something appropriately cynical); the low-key Rob, who has the greatest taste in twisted art (I love his Daddy Warbucks avatar); Mirage, who kicks much butt; and Kasdeja, whose posts are like sunshine to me. Kenny always makes me smile as well. And Sheikh Gomelez has a remarkable intellect and a lot of charm.
The mods who keep things on an even keel: FP, Apo, and especially BK, who has helped me out in some difficult situations with patience and tact. And of course our dear 'mute, who I will miss as a mod (I hope he sticks around as a forumite).
Trainer's erudition and dedication to all things Illuminati awe me on a regular basis. I don't always agree with Juli's reasoning, but she always gives me something to think about. CNG has great politics and a great sense of humor (obviously, given her handle)

I miss cup'o'noodles -- where is s/he these days? I adore her sense of humor too. But Bunnyonsteroids is a great addition to the forum, and has a gorgeous avatar. Kelly (killthesmiley) always makes me laugh. I love Joy's dedication to her daughter, and her creativity. And Luv2skydive doesn't come around nearly enough anymore -- that's somebody whose contributions I miss. I also miss Josh big-time, along with his cute little leer, "well hey there cutey
," on first finding out that someone is female. And Polka I'm grateful to for making me laugh as well -- "Chickens are good," indeed. 
I couldn't possibly end this message without mentioning the guy who got me to the forum in the first place -- our own beloved TWJ. After discovering LG15 through the press coverage in September and watching a few of the vids on YouTube, I got hooked on TWJ's responses, and came here when he urged his viewers to check the place out. He made a fabulous webmaster and an awesome moderator, and his vids are/were charming too. TWJ, come back -- we miss you.
I'm sure there are others I'm not remembering right now because my brain is like a sieve. But I've had beaucoup fun hanging out on this forum -- it's lessened my productivity considerably, but made me chuckle uncontrollably a great deal, so I figure it all balances out in the end.

I did not get a chance to really get to meet TWJ except to comment on his videos and some comments... but you are right on....I started watching in Sept. as well...his responses were great ~ he is awesome ~ i lurked ALOT then...but he is greatly missed!!!!
