I drove 4 hours last night to be with family. So now I'm at my mom's house, and tomorrow I'm doing dinner with my father, stepmom and stepsisters.

I'm not going to see my Mom on Thanksgiving and she's pretty mad at me.
But I think when you get married you have to split up the holidays, Xpecially when you live far away.
We spent last Thanksgiving AND XMas with my family. So this year, we are spending the first part of Thanksgiving with my MomNLaw and the 2nd Part of Thanksgiving with the other side of the hubbys family.
That seems fair, right?

I get to be the lucky one to cook for everyone, by default. My mother was supposed to, but due to a family emergency she had to take off for Florida last week and won't be back for a while. So I get to cook an entire Thanksgiving feast for 11. Thank god Hubby's a chef!!
