I am disgusted to find all this "save Yousef" crap after coming home tonight. I remember a time not so long ago where it was the general opinion that he's a bad actor..what happened? I say kill Daniel..kill Bree..kill everyone, I don't care. I just want to see what happens, I don't care who's left. How much longer is this supposed to last anyway? I'm kinda ready for it to be done soon. I'm getting annoyed by it. It's a love/hate relationship I guess. It's just frustrating how sloooooow it moves and nothing is ever tied up and done with. This must be why I don't watch TV shows that torture you in this way.

Here's my Martha Stewart-esque tip of the day moment: Scent is the only sense that is highly assosciated with memory....like how sometimes you smell something and go "Oh, that smells just like 4th grade" or "That reminds me of my grandma." Well, in keeping with that idea, on special occaisons, during a trip, whenever you go to a place you love, when you're out with a new guy..etc, wear a certain perfume that is reserved especially for that activity. With any luck, later on, whenever you wear that perfume again, it will remind you of that special time in your life. It works.
PS Holly, I am very impressed by the fact that you keep fresh flowers in the house all the time. Martha would be proud...and you're just like Elton John!
I think everyone that should do it, at least in one room. It makes the whole place look and feel alive.

You're right. But I love to do it in every room! (flowers? what flowers?)

There
was a thread for that in the Off the Cuff board, but it's probably sunk to page two or three by now. I say go for it.

Mirage, I could have written this post! I'm the exact same. I started thinking about getting that early start this week, but I know I'm going to be running around all haggard and out of my mind the week of Christmas. Damn it!

I started my Christmas stuff 3 weeks ago. My sister and I bake cookies, and make lots of edible stuff and make big old gift baskets for everyone. All right, so I bake, she eats and then puts everything in the packages. Last year, by Thanksgiving, I had 600 cookies in my freezer!!

Me too! I make candies and cookies and such. Last year I made a bazillion chocolate covered peanut butter balls. This year I'm thinking those, rum balls, truffles and maybe some mexican wedding cake cookies (if I can keep my hands off them).

I've got candied walnuts, almond angel cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, hot cocoa mix, snickerdoodles, sugar cookies that the kids decorate and coffee cake cookies.
The kids also make ornaments.

And what about Pete Schwetty? You know no one can resist his Schwetty balls.
