Jo: I'm sorry for you. [Looks around] This class is kinda quiet...

Chantal: Ha, ya. No teachers or somethin'? Hello? Anyone else here?[Shrugs]

Jo: [gets up and starts walking around the room] I'm bored.

Chantal: Ya. Excuse me, but I'm gonna "search for my eternal song."[Laughs and puts headphones on]

Ms. D: Hi Chantal, Welcome! Each student has been sharing his or her experience with finding the eternal song. Kari and Madison have both done an excellent job. Who would like to go next?

Oh and Chantal, please do remove your headphones!

Chantal: [Sighs and takes off headphones] Hello.

Ms. D: Hello, Chantal. I'm happy you could join our class. Have you been able to find your eternal song?

Chantal: Uhh....[Nervous again] Define 'eternal song.'

Ms. D: The "eternal song" is personal and yet universal. Each of us has our own song within. This song is what helps us realize our essential union with all living beings. In our last class, Karina was explaining how sometimes she would just sit, meditate and hum. Finally, her song came to her.

Chantal: Oh, well....I think I'm gonna need more time before I can fully know my eternal song. I hardly know myself, let alone what makes me essentially united with other living beings.

Autumn - [Is still waiting for Mrs D to respond to her from page 26. ]

Chantal[to Autumn]: Hey, I'm Chantal. [Smiles]

Autumn - [Still kinda panicky] Uh, hi Chantel. I'm Autumn [Smiles nervously and looks back at Ms. D]

Ms. D: Autumn, I could not respond. You went to your room and I had to teach the class. I have written to your Helper and she should be on her way soon to assist you in those areas where you are having difficulty.

Chantal: [Looks around for Ms. D, thinks she's not around, puts head phones back on.] [hums along to song playing and smiles.]
