One hour...
UGh, I wish I'd received an invite, now. I think I want to go. I work about 20 minutes from there.
How can I convince that boss I want to go to a cult seminar in the middle of the work day?

Well, I could say I'm not feeling well and leave for the day. I'm never sick, so if I told her I was sick she'd be all, "Go! Go! We don't need you here."
THey don't need me...but I can't lie to her, either. She pays me too well.

So the seminar is at 3:30 EST? That absolutely f-ing figures. There is asbolutely nothing else going on at work all day, and I have to do a ridiculous conference call with my boss at 3:30!
And I feel all the Florida-haters out there. Florida=no Laurin_B love.
